This card urges us to stand up for ourselves. Even though others may be telling us how to think, feel and/or act, the fairies tell us that is NOT okay. We are our own person and it is only ourselves that we have to answer to. If we don’t like what someone is telling us it is okay to tell them or to simply walk away. The fairies are telling us to live our truth.
Today I challenge you to:
Stand up for yourself to someone who you feel is controlling.
Do a small act that makes you feel like you have reclaimed your life.

For most people their life’s purpose requires some sort of education to help them carry it out. This Angel will help you find a school that suits you, hours that suit you, teachers that suit you and classes that suit you. If it’s not school you are wanting to go back to then this angel will help you further your knowledge on your purpose in another way. For example, if you feel like your life’s purpose is to be a mother, this angel may find a way for you to take a training to become a parent aide in your child’s classroom. If you aren’t sure what you life’s purpose is, the Angels will guide you to that as well. There is nothing the Angels can’t do!!

In this card the artist and author of this deck gives his interpretation of The Little Mermaid. This card tells us that often we can get the idea in our head that the grass is greener on the other side, and maybe it is for a while, but eventually we will realize that our problems will follow us wherever we go.
Sometimes we may may have an opportunity to make a change. And changes can be good. This card doesn’t always tell us that this change is bad, but it does tell us to weigh our options and think about it before we jump into it. Making big decisions always should require thought. Especially life altering decisions which is the type of decision that this card indicates.
And Lastly, this card tell asks us if the environment we are in is good for us. If its a new environment what changes do you need to make, if any? If it is an old environment, is it still working for you, or is it time to move on?
Today I ask you to look at your environment. Ask yourself:
Are you happy where you are?
What changes can you make to make your environment more comfortable?
If you are unhappy where you are, what do you have to do to find an environment where you more comfortable?
Weigh the pros and cons of of any changes you have thought about making.
Do your research on any new changes you’ve been thinking about making.

I read your post on feeding our inner child. The depression and wanting to run away sounds just like me. I need to do something childish. *giggles* Maybe I’ll pour cold water over myself in the middle of the livingroom. Or even better - throw some at my husband! *lol*

Your innerchild is just like any other child. If you don’t give it attention it will throw a tantrum. That tantrum can be in the form of feelings of depression, isolation and the need to escape. Sometimes we get so busy with day to day life and mundane things we forget to nurture the child that lives inside of us. This card lets us know that it is okay to daydream and fantasize about things that may seem impossible. It’s okay to pretend. Today I ask you to do one child-like thing for yourself. Chase down the ice cream man, go to a park and swing on the swings or even color a picture in a coloring book. Anything~so long as you are nurturing the imaginative child within.
